Welcome.
I'm so glad you're here. I believe great therapy starts with a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I strive to meet you where you are, and we can address the areas of struggle together at your own pace and with your own unique needs in mind.
I see adults who are going through difficult life transitions or experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, or traumatic stress. I also specialize in helping adults with ADHD, particularly women who have been recently diagnosed or wish to better understand ADHD, and address barriers and feel more at ease and confident.
I have a Master's in Social Work from the University of Washington and have been a clinical social worker since graduating in 2004. The majority of my experience and training was at UW and Harborview where I learned therapeutic approaches that are empirically based and effective. I began private practice in 2018 and find this work immensely fulfilling. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients of diverse backgrounds. My values and practices draw from these experiences and are grounded in racial justice and LGBTQ+ allyship.
When I’m not working, I'm walking in my Seattle neighborhood looking for sun breaks, listening to and discovering music, and seeing movies in the few remaining small theaters. I deeply value the relationships in my life. I'm also the parent of a teenager, which is very rewarding and humbling.
Searching for a therapist can be overwhelming - especially if you are feeling overwhelmed in the first place. I offer free 20- minute consultations to answer any questions you have and will return your inquiry promptly. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
