Welcome.
I'm so glad you're here. I believe great therapy starts with a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I strive to meet you where you are, and we can address the areas of struggle together at your own pace and with your own unique needs in mind. Typically, I see adults who are going through difficult life transitions or experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, or traumatic stress.
Additionally, I specialize in helping adults with ADHD, particularly women who have been recently diagnosed or wish to better understand ADHD, and address barriers and feel more confident.
I have a Master's in Social Work from the University of Washington and have been a clinical social worker since graduating in 2004. The majority of my experience and training was at UW and Harborview where I learned therapeutic approaches that are empirically based and effective. I began private practice in 2018 and find this work immensely fulfilling. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients of diverse backgrounds. My values and practices draw from these experiences and are grounded in racial justice and LGBTQ+ allyship.
When I’m not working, I'm walking in my Seattle neighborhood looking for sun breaks, listening to and discovering music, seeing movies in the few remaining small theaters, and reading books (often not finishing them). I deeply value the relationships in my life. I'm also the parent of a teenager, which is very rewarding and humbling.
Searching for a therapist can be overwhelming - especially if you are feeling overwhelmed in the first place. I offer free 20- minute consultations to answer any questions you have and will return your inquiry promptly. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
